If you remember, a while ago I mentioned my favorite room in my home is my guest room. Since my oldest baby girl moved out with my grandson, I have taken over this space as my own. And it's become known to all as "Momma's Happy Place".

I love Marilyn Monroe, and the portraits are oil painted. These were a gift to my daughter from my mom, but she did not take them to the new place...so they are mine now! The black and white goes really well with the swirly black and white design I love. In the above pic there is a "Life is Good" Silver shelf sitter. I love restored furniture, so I often get old items redone to look antique.

Of Course NO room is complete without a leg lamp! I absolutely HATE the movie The Christmas Story, so its a running joke when the marathon comes on at Christmas, my mom and sister come with their favorite one-liners. I had to get myself one! And honestly, its cute.
So this is my desk, another restored design. Its a U-shape.
